In 2016, the list of the richest athletes who came to the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro was dominated by basketball and tennis, thanks to the decision of some wealthy athletes, including basketball player LeBron James to refrain from participating in competitions.

  • Advertising revenue: $ 7 million.
